Crinoid Technologies is an AI-native product engineering company founded in 2015 by Shubham Jain and Vivek Bansal, alumni of the National Institute of Technology Kurukshetra. Based in Mohali, Punjab, India — building AI products, Flutter apps, and SaaS platforms for clients across 15+ countries.

From two engineers to a global team
The Beginning
Our co-founders, Shubham Jain and Vivek Bansal, graduated from NIT Kurukshetra and joined the tech industry — Shubham as a mobile engineer, Vivek in product. The seeds of entrepreneurship were planted at a game development company in Chandigarh.
Founding Crinoid
Fueled by a shared vision to build better mobile products, we founded Crinoid Technologies. Our focus: building mobile apps that make a real difference for businesses and end users — with engineering quality at the core.
Growing the Team
A milestone year. We officially incorporated the company, expanded to 30+ engineers and designers, and moved into our own office in Mohali. We signed our first enterprise clients and expanded into SaaS product development.
Resilience & Adaptation
COVID-19 changed how we work — permanently, and for the better. We transitioned to a distributed model and discovered that our team could ship faster, communicate better, and serve clients globally with a remote-first approach.
AI-Native Engineering
From 2022, Crinoid has incorporated AI across both our internal engineering workflow and client delivery. Every engineer uses Claude and GitHub Copilot as daily tools. We now build AI-powered products — RAG systems, LLM-integrated SaaS, AI agents — as a primary service alongside our established Flutter and full-stack practice. Our apps have reached 16M+ combined downloads.

Shubham Jain
Co-Founder & CTO
NIT Kurukshetra alumnus (B.Tech CS, 2013) and mobile engineering lead with 10+ years of experience. Shubham has been building apps since Android 2.3 and leads all technical architecture and AI engineering at Crinoid. He has shipped Flutter apps with 1M+ users, designed Firebase backends handling millions of reads per day, and built production AI systems using OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, LangChain, and RAG architecture.

NIT Kurukshetra alumnus (B.Tech CS, 2013) and product strategist with 10+ years of experience. Vivek leads client relationships, product strategy, and business development. He has helped 50+ product teams go from concept to launched product — working with clients across FinTech, EdTech, HealthTech, Marketplace, and Enterprise sectors, and contributed to products used by 10M+ users.
