RediPTV — Live TV Streaming App
Overview
Developed a full-featured IPTV mobile application for iOS and Android, enabling customers to stream live TV, movies, TV shows, and documentaries over the internet — from any device, anywhere.
The Challenge
The client needed a stable, performant IPTV app for both iOS and Android that could handle live video streaming, large channel lists, on-demand content libraries, and user authentication — without the buffering and UI lag common in early-generation IPTV apps.
What We Built
We built native apps for both iOS and Android with an IPTV player capable of handling HLS and other streaming protocols, a channel guide, search and filtering across a large content library, VOD section for movies and shows, and user account management with subscription status.
Results
RediPTV launched on both the App Store and Google Play, delivering reliable live TV and VOD streaming to its subscriber base. The app was available at its peak on both platforms with stable streaming performance across connection types.

What streaming protocol did you use for the IPTV player?
HLS (HTTP Live Streaming) was the primary protocol, which gives adaptive bitrate streaming — the player automatically adjusts video quality based on the user's connection speed. This was critical for reducing buffering across varying mobile network conditions.
How did you handle the large channel and content library?
We built paginated content loading with server-side search and category filtering, so the app never had to load the full library into memory. The channel guide was built with a virtualised list renderer to maintain smooth scrolling across hundreds of channels.
